Foot, Trail Bridge on the Wonderland Trail with Foilage
This is one of the many foot bridges on the Wonderland Trail. I love how the plants and moss are covering the edges of the bridge and the walking trail is clear and nicely worn!
U.S.S. Bowfin - American Flag - Don't Tread on Me
While on a trip to Hawaii I made a visit to Pearl Harbor on Oahu. I was able to capture a photo of the American Flag that now flys aboard this vessel, the U.S.S Bowfin submarine. This vessel lived through a traumatic era of American History and this flag with, "Don't Tread on Me" epitomizes the American attitude during World War II.
Evergreen Tree with Icicles
I captured this photo after an ice storm came through the Cleveland area. The storm provided some great picture opportunities that I was able to capture the following day including this evergreen tree coated in ice!
Carbon River Suspension (Cable) Bridge on the Wonderland Trail
A photo of the neat looking Carbon River Suspension Bridge on the Wonderland Trail.
Spray Park Trail on the descent to Carbon River Campground, Portrait
After we left Mowich Lake Campground, my buddy and I decided to take the Spray Park trail instead of the Wonderland Trail Proper. I read in Bette Filley's book, "Discovering The Wonders of the Wonderland Trail" that Spray Park offers some magnificent views of Rainier whereas the Wonderland Trail is more forested and covered. The only catch is that if it's bad weather, Spray Park is absolutely miserable as there is no cover and it's the highest point on the trail. Thankfully we lucked out and had blue skies and great views! Here is a photo of Spray Park Trail close to the Carbon River Campground.
River on the John Muir Trail (Black & White)
This is a photo of the Merced River after Vernal Falls.
Mowich Lake with Rocks on the Shoreline
Here is a photo of Mowich Lake. We stayed at the campground that was nearby for the night and picked up our food re-supply stash! Also, as a late night surprise, there was a group of people surveying the land for a University, they introduced themselves to us with left over Chocolate cake that they couldn't finish. It was delightful! Here is a black & white version of this photo: Mowich Lake With Rocks On The Shoreline (Black & White)
Wonderland Trail, Trailhead Sign
I took this photo near the very end of our 11 day, 10 night journey and trek through the woods, rivers and mountains of the Wonderland Trail! Please note: This picture has a good amount of natural "grain" and "noise". It was not "added in" as an effect and will be present in the final printed photograph. I kinda like the look of it, but if that's not your style you should order a different photograph!
Cleveland Sunrise at Edgewater Park
I took this photo from Edgewater Park in Cleveland, Ohio. Near the shore of Lake Erie this photo reveals Cleveland coming to life during the early morning hours with a beautiful sunrise!
Mountain, Lake, Grass & Trees
As I was hiking the John Muir Trail I was able to capture the nature that was all around us.
The topmost section of the Terminal Tower (Cleveland, Ohio)
A close-up of the newly remodeled topmost section of the Terminal Tower.
Cleveland Sign at Edgewater Park with Sunrise, (Screen Use Only)
This photo is of the newly installed sign at Edgewater Park (The Upper Portion). It was installed shortly after the Cleveland Cavs won the championship! This photo is ideal for screen use (e.g. Digital Download).

Indian Henry's Ranger Station
Indian Henry's Patrol Cabin with Mount Rainier as a beautiful backdrop! This was a short distance off of the main Wonderland Trail.
Mount Rainier Sunset on The Wonderland Trail at Reflection Lakes, Portrait
On our way to the Paradise River Campground we were able to see the sunset on Mount Rainier at Reflection Lakes!
Mount Rainier As Seen From Spray Park Trail Meadows II
After we left Mowich Lake Campground, my buddy and I decided to take the Spray Park trail instead of the Wonderland Trail Proper. I read in Bette Filley's book, "Discovering The Wonders of the Wonderland Trail" that Spray Park offers some magnificent views of Rainier whereas the Wonderland Trail is more forested and covered. Thankfully we lucked out and had blue skies and great views! Here is a photo of Rainier from the eastern part of the Spray Park Trail Meadows.
Mowich River Crossing - Wonderland Trail
If memory serves me correctly, this is one of the Mowich River Crossings. The North or South, I'm not sure. My buddy and I had a nice break here in the warm sun!
