While on a trip up to Big Bass Lake, Michigan spending time with friends, fishing, having bonfires and what not, I was able to capture this Heron taking off and in flight!

While hiking on the West Rim Trail in Zion National Park my hiking buddy and I decided to get up early one morning and hit the trail! I'm glad we did because we got to see this magnificent, beautiful and colorful sunrise! We spent a few nights hiking this trail to the end of the West Rim Trail. We finished up this leg of the trip hiking Angel's Landing and exited at The Grotto.

I was on tour with MegaDeth during their 2012 "Countdown to Extinction" tour. We had a stop over in New Dehli, India and had a chance to see a few sights. The Taj Mahal being one of them! I'm not usually super impressed by buildings and such but this one takes the cake! It really is magnificent.

This is a photo of some of the canyons and valleys along our way! We spent a few nights hiking this trail to the end of the West Rim Trail. On our way to the Indian Bar campsite their were a couple of great clearings to see Mount Rainier!

This is a photo of the Wonderland Trail near Skyscraper Pass. It was a windy and cold day! I also appreciated the change in environment, the rocks and barrenness was a neat contrast to the forested and dirt trails.

This is a photo of a patch of dead trees on the West Rim Trail in Zion National Park. I thought they looked very unique, cool and ominous. My hiking buddy and I spent a few nights hiking this trail to the end of the West Rim Trail. While on a trip to Hawaii, I was so fortunate to stay at a resort that had direct acess to a beach and lagoon! Complete with Palm Trees and a beautiful blue sky! This is Kohola lagoon near Aulani resort.

As I was hiking through Glacier National Park I stopped and looked up, (because I'm often staring at the ground making sure I don't step on a rock or twist my ankle), and I saw this iconic looking rock just sitting off in the distance.
