You might be wondering, "What kind of prints are these? I'm sure the quality is great but I'd like to know the specifics!" Being that I'm a man who loves details and the nuances of just about everything here is all the information about the prints!

Q: What kind of paper do you use for prints?

The JBP lab uses Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital Paper. This is used for all Lustre, Glossy and Metallic prints. Supra Endura VC paper has a remarkable color gamut, excellent flesh reproduction, sharpness, and brilliant image quality!

For canvas prints the image is printed directly on the canvas fabric using Inkjet printers.

Q: How long will my photos "last"?

The photos will last for over 100 years in a typical home display. Over 200 years in dark storage. 1-5 years for commercial display. Basically if it's in your home, don't worry about it will look great for a long time. If it's in a commercial setting it will look great for the listed number of years and most likely much longer that. Usually commercial displays are subject to more UV light thereby brining down the "best display years."

Q: What kind of printers do you use?

 This answer might get kinda technical but for those who love "techy" information you're going to love this. All prints 20x30 and smaller are printed on a Noritsu small and medium format photo printers. Prints larger than 20x30 will be printed on a Durst Theta 76 printers. These prints are created with printers that expose light sensitive paper that is then run through a chemical process. These are real photographs, not inkjet prints.
