This is a photo of a patch of dead trees on the West Rim Trail in Zion National Park. I thought they looked very unique, cool and ominous. My hiking buddy and I spent a few nights hiking this trail to the end of the West Rim Trail. We finished up this leg of the trip hiking Angel's Landing and finished up at The Grotto. While stopping for a rest on the top of the ridge on the Kesugi Ridge Trail this little squirrel quickly came out of hiding in the rocky crags and was investigating our packs for food!
