 I took this image while backpacking on the John Muir Trail (JMT). I thought this plant looked very interesting and almost alien...
While visiting Monterey, California a friend of mine went out to eat. The restaurant was located on a pier and these Sea Lions were resting, playing and probably looking for scraps of food!
