While visiting a friend in California we stopped over at Santa Cruz to visit the Beach and Boardwalk. The park was closed but it was still fun to visit and walk around. I didn't know that it was an amusement park with your typical carnival games, roller coasters, food, etc. Maybe I'll visit it if I go back, but to be honest Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio has really spoiled me if I ever want to ride a roller coaster!
On our way along the 17 Mile Drive to Carmel by the Sea there was quite a bit of wildlife! Their were a lot of birds sitting on rocks like this one pictured here. I believe they are called Cormorants.
