Rock Pillar on Olomana Trail

While on a trip to Hawaii I was able to hike the Olomana Trail. This trail is on the island of Oahu. Here is a link for more information if you want to hike it yourself: Olomana Trail The hike was pretty strenuous! There were lots of vertical ascents and descents by rope which had been placed there for the trail or by rock scrambles. Honestly, I didn't trust the rope because I didn't know how often it was checked and maintained so I did as many rock scrambles as I could. But at some points you had to put all your weight on the rope and hope it didn't break because if it did, well, that would be the last of you my friend. Was it worth it? YES!!
