Police Telephone in San Francisco

It's been a long time since I've seen something like this. I think I might have had one in the neighborhood where I grew up but I doubt it worked. This had a hint of nostalgia to it so I had to take a photo! I wonder if it worked... I should have tried it, in the name of science of course.
